Description
DTF file setup service at a glance
For £5 per file, a printer at Wise DTF Prints prepares your artwork for DTF: background removed, resized to the print size you need, resolution and transparency checked, stray pixels and white boxes cleaned up, and the finished print-ready PNG emailed back to you, usually within one working day. Add it to any order, or buy it on its own and keep the file for future orders.
What we fix
- White or coloured backgrounds removed so only the design prints
- Resizing to your exact print size at 300 DPI
- Shadows, glows and semi-transparent edges that would print as a haze on dark garments
- Thin lines and tiny text thickened so they survive pressing
- JPG, PDF, SVG or AI converted to a clean transparent PNG
What it does not cover
Redrawing a blurry logo as a new vector, or designing artwork from scratch. Ask us for a quote for those.
How to send the file
Upload it with your order, or email it to info@wisedtfprints.com with your order number and the print size you want. We reply with the fixed file for your approval before anything is printed.
Simple fixes such as removing a plain white background are free when you place a print order; this service is for files that need real work. Read the artwork guidelines to avoid needing it at all.
Why order from Wise DTF Prints
Every transfer is printed in our Putney, London workshop on 75 micron film with CMYK plus white ink, checked by a printer before it ships, and dispatched the same working day when you order before 1pm. There is no minimum order. Read the DTF artwork guidelines before uploading, or see the FAQs for pressing and washing advice.
