How DTF Transfers Work

DTF transfers are printed designs on a special film that bond to fabric with heat. You place the transfer on your garment, press it at the correct temperature 🌡️ 150 °C for 15 seconds and the ink fuses permanently into the fibres.

The finish feels soft, flexible, and durable. It stretches with the garment and survives repeated washes. Unlike vinyl, there is no weeding. Unlike screen printing, there is no minimum order.

DTF works on cotton, polyester, poly-cotton blends, denim, nylon, fleece, and many more fabrics without pre-treatment. It is one of the easiest ways to handle custom clothing jobs in the UK.

Yes. When pressed at the correct temperature, DTF prints last through repeated washes. Turn garments inside out and wash at 30 to 40 °C for best results. A re-press after cooling maximises durability.
Do DTF transfers work on dark fabrics?
Yes. Each transfer includes a white underbase layer, so colours stay bright and vivid on black, navy, and other dark garments.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. You can order a single A5 sheet or a 10-metre roll. There is no minimum. Tiered pricing applies automatically to larger orders.
How fast is UK delivery?
Most UK orders ship within 24 to 48 hours. Larger bulk orders typically take 3 to 5 working days. Tracked delivery is available at checkout.
Do I need a heat press?
A heat press gives the best results. A domestic iron can work for small designs, but a heat press is strongly recommended for durability and consistency.
