Measure the finished print you want on the garment, add 1cm each side, and pick the smallest sheet that fits. If you have several designs, a gang sheet lets you fit them all on one sheet and pay once.
What is a DTF transfer?
DTF stands for direct to film. Your design is printed in CMYK plus a white underbase onto a clear PET film, coated with hot-melt adhesive powder and cured. When you heat press the film onto fabric, the adhesive bonds the print to the fibres and the film peels away, leaving a thin, stretchy print with full colour on light or dark garments. No weeding, no cutting and no pre-treatment is needed.

How to order
- Choose your size and quantity above.
- Click Next to open the builder, then upload your artwork (PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI is best; PDF, JPG, SVG and AI are also accepted).
- Check the live preview, add to cart and pay.
- Order before 1pm on a working day and your transfers are printed and dispatched the same day from our workshop in Putney, London.
How to press this transfer
- Pre-press the garment for 3 to 5 seconds to remove moisture and creases.
- Position the transfer print side down and press at 160 to 170°C for 10 to 15 seconds with medium pressure.
- Let the film cool completely, then peel it away slowly (cold peel).
- Cover the print with parchment paper and press again for 5 to 10 seconds to lock in the finish.
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out, no bleach.
Custom DTF transfer FAQ
What artwork works best?
A PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI, sized to the print you want. Thin lines under 1mm and text under 6pt can be lost, so keep details bold. Our team checks every file and contacts you before printing if something will not print well.
Do you print white?
Yes. Every transfer is printed with a white underbase, so white and light colours show correctly on black, navy and other dark fabrics.
Can I order a sample first?
Yes. Order a single A5 or A4 sheet to test the colour and feel before a larger order.
How fast is delivery?
Orders placed before 1pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Choose a next-day service at checkout if you need it tomorrow.

Pre-press every garment for 3 to 5 seconds first, let the film cool fully before peeling, and wait 24 hours before the first wash.
