A 1 metre DTF gang sheet from Wise DTF Prints is a single 58cm x 100cm sheet of ready-to-press transfers, printed with as many designs as you can fit on it, for £7.95 per metre. It is the lowest cost per design we offer and the format most UK clothing brands and print shops use for production runs. Order before 1pm on a working day and it is dispatched the same day.

How many designs fit on a 1 metre gang sheet?
The printable area is 58cm wide by 100cm long, which is 5,800 square centimetres. As a guide, with a 5mm gap between designs you can fit roughly:
- About 150 left-chest logos at 6cm x 6cm
- About 40 standard chest prints at 20cm x 10cm
- About 8 full back prints at 28cm x 35cm
- Any mix of the above, plus sleeve prints, neck labels and tags in the gaps
At £7.95 per metre, 40 chest prints work out at around 20p each before pressing. The builder shows exactly how much of the sheet you have used before you pay.

If you only need a handful of small logos, the A4 gang sheet or A3 gang sheet will be cheaper. For a single artwork on one sheet, use custom DTF transfers.
How to order
- Choose your size and quantity above.
- Click Next to open the builder, then upload your artwork (PNG with a transparent background at 300 DPI is best; PDF, JPG, SVG and AI are also accepted).
- Check the live preview, add to cart and pay.
- Order before 1pm on a working day and your transfers are printed and dispatched the same day from our workshop in Putney, London.
How to press this transfer
- Pre-press the garment for 3 to 5 seconds to remove moisture and creases.
- Position the transfer print side down and press at 160 to 170°C for 10 to 15 seconds with medium pressure.
- Let the film cool completely, then peel it away slowly (cold peel).
- Cover the print with parchment paper and press again for 5 to 10 seconds to lock in the finish.
- Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out, no bleach.
1 metre gang sheet FAQ
Do I have to arrange the designs myself?
No. Upload each design once in the builder, set its size and quantity, and the builder nests them for you. You can also upload a pre-arranged file at 6850 x 11811 pixels (300 DPI).
Can I order more than one metre?
Yes. Set the quantity to 2, 3 or more and each metre is printed as a separate 58cm x 100cm sheet. Bulk pricing is available for larger quantities, contact us for a quote.
Does the sheet arrive cut?
The sheet arrives whole and ready to press. Cut between the designs with scissors or a rotary cutter when you are ready to press them.
How long do the prints last?
Pressed and washed as described above, our DTF transfers keep their colour and stretch through repeated washing without cracking or peeling.

Pre-press every garment for 3 to 5 seconds first, let the film cool fully before peeling, and wait 24 hours before the first wash.
