Roll lengths and prices
| Roll | Price | Per metre |
|---|---|---|
| 25 metres | £243.75 | £9.75 |
| 50 metres | £447.50 | £8.95 |

The price per metre falls as the roll gets longer, from £9.75 on 25 metres to £7.95 on 100 metres. Each metre is 58cm x 100cm of printable space, so a 50 metre roll holds roughly 2,000 chest prints at 20cm x 10cm or 400 full back prints at 28cm x 35cm. If you need fewer than 25 metres, order a 1 metre gang sheet per metre instead.
Who orders a 50 metre roll?
- Print shops with steady daily orders across several customers
- Brands with a core range of 10 to 20 designs reordered every month
- Workwear and uniform suppliers printing logos for a client base
- Schools, clubs and leisure centres kitting out a whole season
How to set up artwork for a roll
- Upload each design separately in the builder with its print size and quantity, and we nest them across the roll, or upload your own nested file in 58cm x 100cm sections (6850 x 11811 pixels at 300 DPI each).
- Keep 5mm between designs and 1cm from the film edge. Do not mirror artwork.
- Group designs by garment colour so you can cut a section for each pressing job.
- Repeat designs are printed identically along the roll, so one file and a quantity is all we need for a single-design run.
How to press transfers from a roll
- Cut the section you need from the roll with scissors or a rotary cutter; store the rest flat or loosely rolled, print side out, away from sunlight.
- Pre-press the garment for 3 to 5 seconds, then press the transfer at 160 to 170°C for 10 to 15 seconds with medium pressure.
- Let the film cool completely and peel it away slowly (cold peel).
- Cover with parchment paper and press again for 5 to 10 seconds. Wait 24 hours before the first wash.
50 metre roll FAQ
Is this blank film for my own printer?
No. Every roll is printed with your artwork, powdered and cured, and arrives ready to press. If you need blank DTF film, contact us for a quote.
Can I mix different designs on the roll?
Yes. A roll can carry as many different designs as fit along its length, at no extra cost. Most trade customers mix front prints, back prints, sleeve logos and labels.
How long does a 50 metre roll take?
We confirm a dispatch date when you order; most roll runs ship within one to three working days. Sheet orders placed before 1pm still ship the same day.
Can I get a trade rate for regular rolls?
Yes, for recurring monthly volumes. Email info@wisedtfprints.com or WhatsApp +44 7983 897381 with your expected quantities and we will quote.
